Who we are?
We are a vehicle research lab that performs joint research projects with industry and supports researchers within academia (Bachelor, Master and PhD students) to do research.
How we do it?
We have our own test vehicles that we equip with sensors, loggers and auxiliary power to collect data. The use that such data will have depends on what industry and researchers want to do with it. We also work with other vehicles that we do not own.
Our Research Areas
We cover research around heavy vehicle, passenger vehicles, maritime applications, drones, and others. Also, although we are a vehicle research lab, our research is not necessarily “vehicle centric” as it covers other research areas where a vehicle is used as a tool to collect data, such as infrastructure monitoring or wildlife monitoring. Some of our research areas are:
– Vehicle automation
– Active safety
– Perception
– Vehicle dynamics
– Logistics & freight transportation
– Drones
– Maritime applications
– Non vehicle-centric applications (e.g. infrastructure monitoring, wildlife observation)
